Former YAHOO! Canada Executive Joins Searchlinqs
Former National Marketing Manager, Yahoo! Search Marketing, Canada, Maor Daniel Joins Searchlinqs
TORONTO, On – November 5, 2008 – Jim Bensimon and Ian Korman, President and Chief Executive Officer respectively, Searchlinqs (www.searchlinqs.com), today announced Maor Daniel has joined the company as Vice President, Sales, Marketing and Business Development. In this newly created role, Maor's broad responsibilities include oversight of all the company's marketing initiatives including its trade show strategies, public and media relations initiatives, customer acquisition and retention (sales) as well as strategic business development.

Prior to joining Searchlinqs, Maor was National Marketing Manager, Yahoo! Search Marketing, where he was responsible for all of the company's marketing initiatives with respect to its online search acquisition and retention. During Maor's tenure at Yahoo! he played a key role in tripling the company's customer base and doubling its revenues. Maor also was responsible for increasing Yahoo! Search Marketing's brand awareness from 19% to 81% among small and medium business nationwide as a result of his pinpoint focus on client service.
Prior to Yahoo! Canada, Maor spent six years at Bell Canada in positions of increasing responsibility, most recently as Associate Director, Customer strategy, Medium Business. There he was responsible for developing the company's marketing plans to support Bell Canada's billion dollar business focusing on SMBs in Ontario and Quebec. Maor also won the company's prestigious President's award for three consecutive quarters.
Maor began his career at Sprint Canada where as a Product Marketing Analyst, he was responsible for the company's pricing around their calling cards and dial around product portfolio.
